(Sat): Battleship Cove Mass. Location: Battleship Cove, Mass (Map) & Yawgoog (Map)
Leaving: Meet Sat July 19 at 7:30AM @ Methodist Church Preparation: 2) Footlocker or dufflebag with the rest (won't use until Sunday night) Go over the Yawgoog Checklist and bring (or don't bring) what you should! We will supply all the poles for the mosquitoe netting. (unauthorized poles...) 3) You should have paid, given physical and permission slip to Mr. Gruender Returning: ~7pm Sun July 27 at Methodist Church (another group is going to leave early and be back Saturday night ~ 10pm or so) Directions: Go to Turnpike (north), get onto the Garden State (break at Montvale reststop on your own if you need to gas up with cheap NJ gas), continue north to Route 87, head EAST across Tapenzee Bridge, after the bridge, go 1.5 miles to exit on route 287 take it 10 miles to get to Route 95 -and then keep heading on 95 NORTH (EAST). We will MEET AT the reststop just past Exit 53 Branford. About 4.71 miles past the point route 91 goes north in New Haven in CT (gps 41.28581N / 72.83382W). Figure 4 hours or so and 190 miles to this point. Take Interstate 95N to 195 East; follow 195 East for approximately 14 miles, (do not take exit 5 in Rhode Island-proceed into Mass for THEIR exit 5); take Exit 5 in Mass from the Braga Bridge in Fall River, Mass. Bear left at the fork in the road, turn left at the stop sign and left again at the first traffic light onto Central Street. Proceed down the hill into the parking lot. (There should be a big ship, that looks like a Battleship there... if it isn't there, either you are lost or the ship is.. probably you I bet.
