Info: Okemo Ski Trip 2003

Directions HERE to Springfield High School

Dates: Friday Jan 31 thru Sunday Feb 2, 2003

Leaving: Various times - each group separate
Returning: Methodist Church Sunday Evening
Lodging: Springfield High School: check in 6pm -> 9:30pm
Sleep on gym floor - bring padding! (women sleep in separate room with separate facilities)

Sometimes people take Friday off and leave at 4am to get up there around 10am to ski Friday as well.
No discount rates available for this extra Friday skiing.

Details: Bring $$ for dinner on the way up, lunch/dinner on the way back.
Dinner Fri & Sat night: 7pm -> 9pm cafeteria style

What to Bring:

Warm clothes, gloves, hats, boots for skiing.
Padding for the floor, air-mattress or a cot - the gym floor can be hard with only a sleeping bag!!!
Permission slip of course. Sleeping in heated school with showers.
Swim trunks / sandals for the showers (group showers!)
Meals provided as part of package.
1st timers and beginners welcome - lessons and rentals available.
A big hill like this is an excellent place to learn how to ski (especially on the typically good conditions they have in Vermont).
Vermont can be COLD though, so prepare to dress WARM (including face & hands).
Buddy system a MUST on mountain.
