Info: Canoe Trip

Date: June 18-20 (Fri-Sun)

Leaving:  Leaving the 18th at 4:00pm from the church.

Returning:  Sunday Jun 20 at noon @ Memorial School (not church!!)

Requirements: All scouts will have to pass the swim test which is this Monday 7:00 to 8:30 at the Special Services School on Ark Road.

Schedule: We will be camping at the Rivers Bend Group Camp site #2 at the Delaware Water Gap. On Saturday Morning we will head to A canoe rental, most likely Adventure Sports in Marshall's Creek, PA. We will finalize that deal once we know who is going (at the moment it is about 15). The supplier will pick the route and transport us to and from our cars. We are looking at a 12 mile route which can be comfortably done in about 6 hours with inexperienced and small paddlers. This will give us plenty of time to eat lunch and take breaks to get wet if it's warm.
