This is a wonderful fundraiser for a wonderful cause. The 1st annual Medford area "Relay For Life" in 2002 had Troop 26 amongst the original 27 teams, and this year there will be over 100 teams participating!! The concept is simple - walk all night to help raise funds for cancer. But it is much much more than that...
Troop 26 is needed to 1) set up tents (we are loaning a dozen tents to other teams), 2) help prepare breakfast Saturday morning and 3) tear down tents we loaned out. Also we are there to support the fight against cancer!!

Directions: Oh come on, you know where Lenape HS is don't you??? Just go north from the Methodist Church about a mile (cross 70) and its on your left - can't miss it!!
Costs: FREE but we need to raise money for the event!
Thanks for your donations to date, we will continue to
collect up to the night of this wonderful event (June 25-26) so keep on
working!! This is a truly special event celebrating those who have been
afflicted with cancer and survived. It raises not only much needed funds for
research and a cure, but brings awareness and hope to all that we can finally
beat this disease which affects so many. The event is scheduled from June 25th
to June 26th (5:00 PM to 5:00PM) at the LENAPE High School. Every Scout and
leader is being asked to participate in the fund raising effort, even if you
cannot actually be at the event yourself. Ask your friends, relatives,
neighbors, etc., to help out. We are asking everyone to get a minimum of four -
ten dollar donations ($40.00 total). This should be easy, but if you can do
more, even better.

Other Info: We will camp in tents. There will be lots of music, movies, games, events all night long. Last year we helped people to set-up and tear-down tents. We need a baton to pass to whoever is walking at any instant. We need to all bring our troop t-shirts, and we *may* make t-shirts customized for the event. We need a baton to carry all night long! We need enthusiasm!!
