Who is invited: Current and former members of Troop 26 and guests who have received invitations and people who are just really hungry and willing to listen to a court of honor to get a few snacks that they could easily get at any Supermarket or Sam's Club from those people who give out those free taste samples (but sometimes you have to wait until a different employee is working to get that 2nd sample or they might yell at you unless you really look like you are going to buy something - but man ... those samples are good, aren't they?).
From Philadelphia:
- Route 676 thru city, Route 30 thru Camden, Merge RIGHT onto Route
70.
- Take Route 70 EAST about 12 miles
- Continue past Marlton 'circle', continue when 4 lane Rt 70 becomes 2 lanes.
- Proceed thru 4 lights (or so) to Medford Route 541 intersection
- Turn RIGHT (South) onto 541 (Stokes Road) (see map below)
- Proceed ~2 miles thru Medford bearing left (more like a straight)
onto Dixtontown Road at the McDonalds - Proceed to END of Dixontown Road making LEFT at Stop Sign onto
Tabernacle Road (532) - Proceed past Shawnee High School (on your right)
- Lord of Life Lutheran Church is on your RIGHT (1/4 mi. past Tabernacle sign)
From Northern New Jersey:
- Take Route 295 south getting off on Route 73 (EXIT 36A) SOUTH
OR Take NJ Turnpike south getting off on Route 73 (EXIT 4) SOUTH - Follow Route 73 to the Marlton Circle and make left (from right lane
going around the 'circle') to Route 70 EAST - Follow Directions above ("From Philadelphia")
From Atlantic City:
- There is no way to get here from Atlantic City, Sorry.
From SanFrancisco:
- Drive like forever, and then a lot more. Make sure you stop a lot to drink lots of coffee and take care of business. If you get near Philadelphia, then lock the car doors and proceed carefully.
From North Cape May:
- Take the Garden State Parkway until you get to Atlantic City, then read directions above.
From England:
- Please don't drive - you will get very wet and may drown.
From Atlantic City Expressway:
- OK this was like a test to see how far you would read down.
- Take Atlantic City Expressway to EXIT 28 Route 54 NORTH.
- Proceed until Route 54 becomes Route 206 NORTH (about 2.5 miles)
- Take Route 206 North ~ 12 miles going past Route 541, then past Route 622
- Turn LEFT on Tabernacle Road / Medford Lakes Road Route 532
- Church is about ~2 miles on your LEFT
From Other Areas:
- Wow like this is really getting difficult. If I were you (and I am not), I would call somebody and get directions. I mean do you seriously believe that I'm going to list directions here for every location on the east coast? Seriously. Get a map. Medford isn't that tough to get to. I find it every day on the way home from work. Except that time I got seriously lost because there was an accident and the police directed me down a street I wasn't familiar with, and I was just new at Medford and Martino was navigating, but that is another story.
