Welcome to Troop
BSA Web site!

Our condolences to friends and families of our scouting brothers who perished at the National Jamboree.  We keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

Check CALENDAR for updates.  We are in the 'every other week' schedule now.  Also check out our "Friends of Scouting" Certificate - we raised a substantial amount of funding for Scouting!

Troop 26 CREWS spent 22 hours at SeaBase and were chased out due to the hurricane!  Everyone home safe & sound.

Tom Fritzscha and Greg Streep won prizes for the TOP Fundraisers in the troop!  Thanks to Hugh Streep for coordinating this event! And overall the Relay For Life of Medford was a huge success. More than 2,000 walkers participated in the event and a total of 93 teams raised $192,000! Their goal was $150,000.

Applause and Cheers to two of our Adult leaders for receiving the "District Award of Merit" at the Council Recognition Dinner on May 5.  Both Paul O'Connor and Bob Gray received the award.  Excellent recognition and well deserved!

Congratulations to Matt O'Connor for making the rank of Eagle Scout!
(Way to go, Matt!) #76 for the troop.

Updated Forms Available!

The updated Parent Permission form now incorporates the new Troop 26 "Code of Conduct".  Both the parent/guardian and scout are now required to sign this updated form prior to all trips and events. This version of the permission form is now required on all trips, including the upcoming trip to Washington DC.  Download them here:  (word-file  /  adobe-pdf-file)

Check out the new 'code of conduct' written by the scouts of troop 26.  This will be used for all future events along with 'parent permission form' we have always used.

Nice new letter received from former Troop 26 Eagle scout - check it out!

NEW location for most of our meetings is now the Medford Emergency Medical Services (20 Jackson Road) near the intersection with Stokes (see map here).  Unless we have a 'big event' (court of honor or something) we will meet at EMS.

SEABASE 2006 - Interested? Scuba?  Sailing?  See Mr. Martino!!
