Detmering November 16, 2001 Dear
Mr. Detmering, Lord
of Life Lutheran Church and I would like to thank you for your time and effort
in helping Charlie Dreisbach with putting together our Photo Directory as part
of his Eagle Project. Lord of Life understands the time and effort it takes to
put something like this together. We also recognize the other duties that you
have that had to be put aside to do this. The
Photo Directory has already started to reap benefits in bringing our
congregation together as one family in Christ. Lord of Life started 15 years ago
with about 60 families meeting in a school each Sunday.
We have now grown to over 250 with as many as 4 services a weekend. We
started to loss touch with one another. It was almost like 4 different
congregations. This Photo Directory has help bring us back together again as one
family. We
handed the Directory out at our 15th anniversary Service and Brunch.
It was gratifying to see the families in our congregation going through it and
finding people they did not realize were members of the congregation. Again
thank you for your time and help in helping Charlie and Lord of Life do help
with God’s work. Rick
