"We are staying at Anacostia Naval Station, right in the city. The directions
I pulled from the web are I-295 south to the exit for the Naval Station (just
after the Howard St. exit). After getting off the exit, make a right at the
very first light (very soon after getting off the ramp). Follow the road
around a bend and under a bridge. The Naval Yards entrance will be straight
ahead. I'm still trying to fine tune the details of where exactly on the
base we will be staying and the rules of our stay. I reserved space for
forty."

"Use of the reserve Center is by reservation only and limited to 200 scouts and leaders per night. Groups are required to be out of the Center by 6:45 a.m. and plan activities to keep them out of the center until after 5:30 p.m. daily.

The Center has a large drill hall and offers a “nice, soft piece of concrete” (sleeping pads or air mattresses are recommended) and unsecured area to stow your gear during the day. Also provided are shower facilities, vending machines (drinks and snacks) and there is parking adjacent to the building.
