Directions & Map to Mimosa Lakes
From the Methodist church:
Take Taunton Road (the one going to the right at the light when the Mehodist church is on the left) to the end.
Take the left at the T (at the end of Taunton) and follow the road around to the right. This is Hopewell.
After about 1/4-1/2 mile, take a left onto Centennial Road, which also has a street sign for Ceder Run Wildlife Refuge on the same corner.
Follow that road about 1/2 mile, and on the left will be a development sign in the crook of a road shooting off at 45 degrees to the left.
Take that road (it straightens out). It has no name, but you will pass over a dam.
At the end of that road (only like 1/4 mile) there will be a Y with a sign for Mimosa Lakes in the middle. Take a right onto Pontiac Road.
Take the first left onto Shanty Dam. The entrance beach is on the right about 100 yards after the turn, but you can park pretty much anywhere on that road.
