Sam Rowand 1925-2008

J. Rowand, age 82 of Medford, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2008 at home.
Born in Berlin, NJ, Samuel resided in Medford since 1961.. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He retired after twenty years of service to his country. Samuel was a member of the Medford Lodge #178 F&A.M. in Medford.
He was the Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 26 in Medford for many years, and very involved in all aspects of the scouting program.
He is survived by his sons, Keith and Christopher Rowand and his former spouse Mabel Rowand.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, January 10, 2008, from 6 to 9 PM, and again on Friday, January 11, from 9 lo 10 AM at the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 58 N, Main St., Medford, 609-654-2439. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Medford.
